Swinford GAA Handball Club are holding a table quiz in the White House Swinford on Date has been changed to Friday 7th February at 9pm. This is a fundraising initiative to support remedial works being carried out at Swinford indoor alley. Currently, no competitions can take place in the alley due to lack of basic facilities in the alley. This cannot be sustained in the long term as it means that our competitors are at a complete disadvantage when they enter championship matches. Basic facilities are also needed for training our future competitors to the highest standard if we as a club are to remain at the top of our sport in the years to come. We would ask that all sporting and other organisations within Swinford would support the Quiz on the 7th of February in the White House. It is ten years since the current club was set up and in that time we are the only handball club to have attained 53 All Ireland titles from Juvenile up to senior level and a further two world titles in 2012. So come along for a fun night out and help us to continue to support our juvenile and adult players who will be the stars of the future.
